The newest star in American sprinting, the 21-year-old Williams added a World Championships' gold medal to her list of accolades in winning the women's 100 meters at the 2005 IAAF World Outdoor Championships earlier this summer in Helsinki, Finland. The former University of Miami standout also ran the anchor leg on Team USA's gold medal winning 4x100m relay in Helsinki. The 100m silver medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Williams also won the women's 100m title at the 2004 NCAA Championships.

An elder statesman of American sprinting, Drummond, 37, ran lead-off leg on Team USA's gold medal-winning 4x100-meter relay team at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. He also was the 1996 Olympic silver medalist in the relay, and is a three-time world outdoor champion in the event (1993, '99, '01). Making youth outreach a priority, Drummond runs the "With Purpose" foundation.

A major initiative by USA Track & Field and the American College of Sports Medicine, "Be A Champion" facilitates direct interaction between Olympic medalists and children around the country, in order to positively impact their lifestyles and decision-making.
