A Rouzerville man was arrested Saturday and charged with the Oct. 5 burglary of the Antietam Pharmacy on South Potomac Street.
During the raid at the home of Jamie Yeager, 26, of 13961 Harbaugh Church Road, Lot 6, Washington Township police said they recovered an estimated $30,000 worth of narcotics stolen in the break-in at the former Medicine Shoppe.
Police said they served a search warrant at 9:45 a.m. on Yeager's home and found a large amount of prescription narcotics, including Oxycontin, Oxycodone and Actiq morphine sticks and patches.
Washington Township Police Chief Barry Keller said police received information as a result of another arrest that led them to Yeager.
Also found was about a half pound of marijuana packaged for sale, smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
Some of the narcotics were within reach of two young children who lived at the home, police said.
In addition, a stolen motor was found in a vehicle at Yeager's home, according to the report.
Yeager has been charged with receiving stolen property, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to deliver narcotics and endangering the welfare of children.
He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Alloway and committed to Franklin County Prison in lieu of $10,00 bond.
